What the product does
TrueInterview covers two parts of a technical job search: preparing for interviews and getting the job. The question bank files each question under the company that asked it, with the month it was reported wherever the report gave one. Each question opens in the workspace for its format. Coding and SQL answers are judged on the server against hidden test cases, and system design is drawn on a whiteboard. An AI reviewer scores a finished solution against a rubric.
When you are ready to apply, the same account keeps your CVs and cover letters, and on a paid plan it tailors them to a job posting. Auto-apply fills in the employer's form and sends your application once you approve it, or a browser extension fills it in for you to submit yourself, and a tracker follows every role from saved to offer.
Where the questions come from
Every question comes from a candidate. Some candidates email or upload their questions to us. We summarize the rest from interview experiences that candidates posted on the public interview-experiences board or published elsewhere in their own words, then verify each question and file it by company. Wherever the report gave a month, the question shows it, so you can see when a question is old. A question without a month makes no claim about when it was asked. Interview experiences are written by the candidates themselves and published under our content guidelines, which prohibit anything covered by an NDA.
Where job and company information comes from
Job postings, company profiles and employer facts such as size, location and posted pay come from public sources: employers' own career pages, public job boards and company websites. Each posting shows the date it was first posted, and it may have closed or changed since we collected it. No employer endorses this site or checks what it shows, so confirm anything important with the employer before you rely on it.

How your data is handled
To do the work you ask for, we send your material to third-party language-model providers. They are named in the privacy policy, and under the API terms we use, your inputs are not used to train their models. How the site is used is recorded for us by PostHog, Inc. (product analytics, session recording, error reports and performance measurements, hosted on PostHog US Cloud, so this data is stored in the United States — see posthog.com/privacy), and the privacy policy lists what a session recording never captures. In the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and Quebec, product analytics, session recordings and advertising cookies stay off until you accept them on the banner shown on your first visit. Wherever you are, you can change your choice at any time under "Cookie settings" in the site footer.
