Requirements

• Talk about your data modeling work for analytics, reporting, and data applications.
• Share your data warehouse background, mentioning any hands-on with Hive, Spark, Hadoop, or SQL Server.
• Walk through your experience with data services.

Notes

• The interview happens via Zoom or phone. The recruiter goes through the background form point by point.
• Structure each response with the consumer, data grain, schema, ingestion path, quality checks, and one trade-off you personally managed. Distinguish tools you've used in production from those you know only in theory.
• Describe warehouse projects by discussing workload and storage decisions, and data services by covering their consumers, freshness requirements, interface, and failure handling. Rely on real experience, not imagined scale or ownership.

Preparation

• Take 20 minutes to match each background-form topic to an actual project, then outline a two-minute story about your role and one measurable outcome.
• Spend 15 minutes drafting one analytics model and the flow from data ingestion to a downstream service; verbally explain the grain, a quality check, and a design trade-off.
