Start with a brief summary of your experience in e-commerce risk control, keeping it to 30–60 seconds. After that: (1) Why are you interested in joining this specific e-commerce risk team, and why now? (2) What three main goals would you set for your first 30/90/180 days, and which concrete metrics would you use to measure success (for example, approval rate, chargeback rate, coupon-abuse rate, manual-review SLA)? (3) Describe a time you pushed back on a risk policy or threshold: what data did you use, what trade-offs did you quantify, and what was the result? (4) If you were offered competing projects, how would you prioritize them with limited analysts and a 10% engineering allocation? Overview: This question tests domain expertise in e-commerce risk control, metric-driven decision making, prioritization under resource constraints, leadership and stakeholder communication, and the ability to quantify trade-offs when challenging policies.
