Respond to the following items in sequence:
- Deliver a tight 90-second introduction about yourself, customized to this position, highlighting one or two measurable accomplishments that matter most for it.
- Map out your current team's organization: overall size, functions, reporting relationships, onshore/offshore distribution, and key stakeholders; also quantify your own remit (individual contributor vs. lead, and the share of time spent on execution, coordination, and strategy).
- Connect the role's top three requirements to specific past results with numbers; name one area where you fall short for the job and lay out a concrete 30-day plan to address it.
- Assuming hiring capacity is constrained this quarter, describe how you would weigh adding people against reshaping the work; identify the first two positions you would open (or contractors you would bring on), the impact you expect, and the metrics you would use to judge success.
- Share your location limits and preferences (willingness to relocate, time-zone fit, work authorization), along with the compromises you would accept (pay range, travel frequency, hybrid schedule) and your reasoning.
- State the level you are aiming for (for example, Senior versus Staff), support it with evidence (scope, ambiguity managed, cross-organizational impact), and explain your response if the offer came in one level lower or higher, covering negotiation approach and a 90-day success plan for either scenario.
Overview: This prompt assesses communication, leadership, organizational design, prioritization, hiring strategy, negotiation, and quantified role-fit skills for a Data Scientist position.
