Explain a project with measurable impact

Pick one high-impact project from your resume and walk through it for 8–10 minutes: state the problem and the business goal, the starting baseline and target, your exact role and headcount, the key design choices and rejected alternatives, the riskiest assumptions and how you put them to rest, the metrics and how you measured them in a causal way, what went wrong and how you recovered, how you handled security/privacy constraints, and the quantified outcomes. Be ready for two follow-up probes—one on scalability limits, one on metric validity—with concrete numbers and dates.
Overview: The question tests whether a data scientist can show end-to-end project ownership, measurable impact, causal inference and metric validity, technical design judgment, risk mitigation, scalability reasoning, and handling of security/privacy constraints.
