Remove Read-Only Files

Problem

Implement a routine that traverses a file-system tree and deletes every file that is marked as read-only. You are given an absolute path pointing to the entry point; all read-only files located anywhere beneath that path must be removed.

The path follows the hierarchical form root/folder1/folder2/.../folderN/file.ext.

Example

Input: root/folder1/read_only_file.txt

Output:

(read_only_file.txt is a read-only file residing directly under folder1 — it is deleted, so no output is produced.)

Constraints

• The path is guaranteed to be absolute.
• You must handle arbitrarily deep nesting of directories.
• Only files that have the read-only attribute set should be removed; all other files and all directories must remain untouched.
• You may assume the existence of a helper that provides file metadata (e.g., is_read_only(path) and delete_file(path)).
