Describe a high-impact project via STAR

Using the STAR framework, walk me through a project you led that produced a measurable change in a core business metric. Include: Situation — company, product, and date range; Task — the specific target and non-negotiable constraints, such as no more than six analyst-hours; Action — the three most consequential decisions you made, the trade-offs you accepted, the stakeholders you aligned across regions, and one risk you deliberately took; and Result — before/after metrics with absolute numbers, percentage change, estimated dollar impact, and how you verified attribution. What would you do differently to double the impact with the same time budget, and what would you eliminate if you had to ship in three hours?
Overview: This question probes a data scientist's leadership, project management, stakeholder coordination, prioritization under constraints, risk appetite, and ability to quantify and attribute changes to core business metrics using quantitative evidence.
