This is a 35-minute behavioral interview for a new-graduate software position. For each question below, prepare a tight, well-organized response lasting 1–3 minutes:
- Introduce yourself
- Why Google? (or: why this company/team)
- Product thinking: “If you wanted to create a product that every user would use, what would you do?”
- Short-term and long-term goals
- Managing a heavy workload: “You have a lot on your plate—what would you do?”
- Weakness
Expect the interviewer to ask brief follow-ups about scope, impact, tradeoffs, and lessons learned.
Overview: These questions assess communication, behavioral leadership, product thinking, prioritization, goal setting, time management, and self-awareness across familiar interview areas: self-introduction, company/team fit, product strategy, short- and long-term goals, workload management, and personal weaknesses.
