Get ready for standard behavioral questions, and expect interviewers to probe for specifics:
- Tell me about the project you are most proud of.
- Describe a project with unclear requirements. What did you do to move forward?
- Tell me about a time a project shifted substantially partway through. How did you respond?
- Share an example of constructive feedback you received and how you handled it.
- Describe constructive feedback you gave to another person.
- Talk about your experience leading or managing others, whether directly or indirectly.
Overview: These behavioral questions assess communication, leadership, adaptability, comfort with ambiguity, giving and receiving feedback, and ownership, all in the setting of machine learning engineering work.
